Many eyes were on Tuesday's Democratic debate, but Jimmy Fallon focused on one set Wednesday night when he brought back his now-infamous Donald Trump impersonation.

Fallon decided to take a guess at what Trump had to say about the debate, so he transformed into Trump and decided to call his pal Dr. Ben Carson (David Alan Grier), who was in the midst of a nap.

Fallon's Trump took aim at many of the candidates throughout the debate, but summarized it from the very beginning as "hugely boring. Huge snoozefest."

But then he went after candidate Lincoln Chafee, who referred to himself as a "block of granite" during the debate. Fallon's Trump did not agree.

"He doesn't look like a block of granite," he said on the phone to a sleepy-eyed Carson. "He looks like a turtle who shops at Men's Wearhouse."

Clearly not entertained by the back-and-forth repartee of some of the candidates, Fallon's Trump continued to scoff at the candidates on the TV. Of course, he managed to throw a jab at another contender, but this time it was a member of the GOP.

"This debate is the saddest thing I've ever seen," he said, "and I've met Jeb Bush."

Grier's Carson, however, couldn't have been more thrilled!

"Well, I'm totally amped for this debate," Carson said, dozing off. "Look at me, I'm at the edge of my seat."

Managing to actually fall asleep, Carson woke up and started screaming "Hitler!"

"You keep making outrageous comments every day saying crazy things, yet you're going up in the polls," Fallon's Trump responded. "Stop stealing my campaign strategy!"

They then turned their critical eyes on Bernie Sanders.

"The old angry Muppet is talking," Grier's Carson noted as Sanders got heated over constantly hearing about Hillary Clinton's "damn emails."

Even though it was the Democratic debate, "Trump" and "Carson" managed to insult candidates from both parties. When Clinton refused to reply to an insult during the debate, all she said was "No."

"She just threw more shade than Chris Christie at the beach," Fallon's Trump joked.
