Ariana Grande underwent a (gasp!) hair transformation for her new single's cover photo.

OK, she didn't go crazy—she did keep her signature high ponytail, or rather, a half-ponytail. But the 22-year-old brunette pop singer sports platinum blond white hair in the black and white image, which she posted on her Twitter page on Tuesday.

"It's white actually," Grande said on the Smallzy's Surgery show on Nova 96.9FM radio in Australia. "it's hard to tell because of the black and white filter, but it's white. Like super white. But you'll see it in the video and stuff, you can see how, it looks like Lucius Malfoy, he was sort of my...go to reference."

Grande, who has changed up her hairstyle before, has been teasing pixelated versions of the cover image since last week and had also posted an audio sample of the song. The single is set for release on Oct. 30 and is her first new solo track since the 2014 song "One Last Time," which went platinum in the United States.

Grande is also featured on the new Italian-language ballad "E Più Ti Penso" (Translation: "The more I think of you"), a beautiful duet with famed Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, 57. The song's music video was posted on YouTube this week.

The single is set to be released on Oct. 23 and is featured on his 15th studio album, Cinema. The song is from the 1984 movie Once Upon a Time in America.

Bocelli has in the past famously sung duets with The Phantom of the Opera original star Sarah BrightmanCéline Dion, Christina AguileraJennifer Lopez and Katharine McPhee.

"To have a record with Andrea is just so surreal and so special and something that I never really thought would happen and I'm so grateful," Grande says in a behind-the-scenes video for the music clip. "To share a record with Andrea is such an honor. He's Andrea Bocelli."
