Watch: "Pretty Little Liars" Flashes Forward in Season 6

What were you doing when you were 23?

Interning? Bussing tables? Living off of your parents' money while you drowned in student loans?

Or perhaps you haven't even gotten to 23 yet. In that case, we urge you to not realistically look towards the Pretty Little Liars to set an example for what you'll likely achieve, because these are some incredibly accomplished young women.

Pretty Little Liars hit up New York PaleyFest this weekend to talk about seasons and mysteries new and old, and E! News caught up with the girls before the panel to get the scoop on exactly what their characters are all up to when the show resumes in January. Apparently, the time jump means they all live in a magical world filled with easily achievable dream jobs, perfect hair and marrying young.

In the video above, Lucy Hale, Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson and Sasha Pieterse give us a rundown of where Aria, Spencer, Hanna and Allison all are in the second half of season six, when the show picks up five years after A/Charlotte was finally unmasked and arrested.

OK, so we actually have a lot of questions.

Allison is a teacher. Allison didn't even go to high school! How did Allison become a teacher with her own classroom in just five years? As Sasha explains, "she's never really had the high school experience, so she's learning through her students." How does that work?

Meanwhile, Aria's a publisher, Hanna is engaged and assisting an "Anna Wintour-type" boss, and everyone's jet-setting around Europe and living fashionable lives that we were certainly not living when we had three roommates, an internship, a part-time job at a shoe store, a barren OK Cupid account, and a face full of acne at 23.

Ugh, don't mind us. We may just be a little bitter and jealous of the little liars and their beautiful existences and the fact that we still have faces full of acne, even (an undisclosed number of) years later.

In any case, we're excited to see what Pretty Little Liars looks like when season six finally returns in January.
