Bristol Palin is expecting a second child soon, and this time it's…a baby girl!
Yes, the 24-year-old daughter of Sarah Palin will have to start purchasing some more pink as she plans for the arrival of her daughter.
Bristol took to Instagram to make the announcement, sharing a photo while cradling her pregnant belly and writing, "7.5 months with my baby girl," alongside a couple of heart emojis.
The brunette—who is already a mom to son Tripp, 6—wrote a blog post about parental consent for birth control over the weekend in which she also revealed she's having a daughter.
"I know I'm the last to talk about birth control. (Two baby daddies right? LOLZ!)," she wrote. "But I am expecting a girl and do have a 14 year old sister and I would be so concerned for her going into a clinic and having something pretty serious put into her body."
She adds, "I'm not against birth control by ANY MEANS so do not twist my words. But I am against the government going between a parent and a child at such a young age… WE as parents know what's best for our young daughters – NOT the government."
Meanwhile, Bristol announced her second pregnancy in June, calling it a "huge disappointment" on her blog.
"Honestly, I've been trying my hardest to keep my chin up on this one," the former Dancing With the Stars contestant wrote. "At the end of the day there's nothing I can't do with God by my side, and I know I am fully capable of handling anything that is put in front of me with dignity and grace. Life moves on no matter what. So no matter how you feel, you get up, get dressed, show up, and never give up. When life gets tough, there is no other option but to get tougher."
She added, "I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you," she continued. "But please respect Tripp's and my privacy during this time. I do not want any lectures and I do not want any sympathy."
However, she has completely changed her tone over the last few months, admitting she's having the "best time" while pregnant. She also clarified that the pregnancy was planned with her ex-fiancée Dakota Meyer before they called off their engagement.
"None of us are perfect," she wrote on her blog. "I made a mistake, but it's not the mistake all these giddy a$$holes have loved to assume. This pregnancy was actually planned."
She added, "I do not regret this baby. This baby is not a disappointment, and I cannot wait to be a mom times two. Tripp is going to make the best big brother!!"
Her baby girl is expected in December.
