Wendy Williams is firing shots once again—this time, they're pointed at pop sensation Taylor Swift.
Never one to bite her tongue, Williams hailed Swift the "Queen of the Mean" during Monday's episode of The Wendy Williams Show. She broached the topic of the 25-year-old "Style" singer while announcing the fact that she currently holds the title of most followers on Instagram, ahead of notable social media mavens Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé.
While Swift's more than 50 million Instagram followers would probably beg to differ, Williams asserts the blonde beauty's strong popularity streak is masking an underlying darker trait.
"People like Taylor and I think that the reason why also is a hidden secret of mean," she said during a round of "Hot Topics." "I think that she is probably meaner than Beyoncé and Kim put together. In my mind, Taylor Swift is the Queen of the Mean. She's sneaky and smart about doing it which makes her smarter than the other two."
According to Williams, such "sneaky" tactics include posting photographs posing fully-clothed with her cats or in the kitchen—a wholesome look in comparison to Kardashian's cleavage-baring selfies or Beyoncé's thigh gap-flaunting bikini shots.
"She's got her girl army hypnotized to think she's the bee's knees. From the Cara...to Kendall Jenners, those girls they all hang out. Taylor bakes and cooks. We've never seen Kim or Beyoncé bake and cook," the host notorious for her gab continued to explain.
So, how should the celebs displaced in the Instagram ranks right their way back up the ladder? For starters, if you can't beat Swift, join her.
"Here's the thing, she's trying to trick us into thinking she's a good woman because she bakes and cooks and it's actually working right now on Instagram," the 51-year-old host acknowledged. "For Kim and Beyoncé, if you weren't so obvious about your thing and a little more covert, you two will be back on top of Instagram, but for right now, it's all about Taylor Swift."
Clearly, Williams is far from worried about her words coming back to bite her. In August, she complained about Ariana Grande's petite frame on air, prompting social media backlash in the form of a trending #CancelWendyWilliams hashtag. A month later, she suggested Kim Zolciak faked her mini-stroke.
We just hope this doesn't turn into another case of "Bad Blood" between celebrity women.
