You know the end result is not going to be good when one begins a sentence with, "Not to be sexist, but..."

T.I. has found himself on the receiving end of rampant backlash after he revealed in a recent interview that he will not vote for a woman as President of the United States because females are too "rash."

The 35-year-old rapper made his comments when asked to share his thoughts on former Secretary of State and presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.

"Not to be sexist but, I can't vote for the leader of the free world to be a woman," he said during a sit-down chat with DJ Whoo Kid. "Just because, every other position that exists, I think a woman could do well. But the president? It's kinda like, I just know that women make rash decisions emotionally—they make very permanent, cemented decisions—and then later, it's kind of like it didn't happen, or they didn't mean for it to happen."

He continued, "And I sure would hate to just set off a nuke. [Other leaders] will not be able to negotiate the right kinds of foreign policy; the world ain't ready yet. I think you might be able to the Loch Ness Monster elected before you could [get a woman]."

It didn't take long for Twitter to abrupt with criticism, at which point the recording artist apologized for his comments.

Ironically, as the Twitterverse has pointed out, T.I. is a felon and therefore cannot vote (he previously spent seven months in prison on a felony weapons conviction).

Still, something tells us it's going to take more than 140 characters for folks to forgive this one.
