Instagram Relationship goals just went to a whole new level.
Last night Chrissy Teigen announced via Instagram that she and hubby John Legend are expecting their first child. As can be expected, the news blew up. Word of their impending parenthood spread far and wide, eclipsing all sorts of other celebrity developments like Amy Schumer's Kardashian feud or the AMA nominations. Sorry, every other story, but this is going to be the talk of the town for awhile.
And fans have so many reasons to be excited. First, this couple is basically the living embodiment of perfection. They're madly in love (something that isn't seen in Hollywood too often), they do super cool things like eat 10 pizzas at a time while on vacation in Italy, and they're not afraid to be their true, totally quirky, selves.
Then there was the pregnancy announcement in and of itself. People are pretty much enamored with 1) the raw honesty in which Teigen speaks about their struggles to conceive and 2) the insanely adorable photo that the model posted on Instagram to accompany the news. If only we could all embody this moment of fake-laughing-meets-belly-stroking one day.
Oh, and there's also the fact that these two will most likely make the most beautiful baby to grace this earth. But that's just details.
Happy people far and wide took to the Internet to share their feelings of joy and excitement about the bundle of joy that Teigen and Legend will one day be bringing to the world, and the fans don't hold anything back. Even a few self-admitted non-celeb followers had to relinquish their hostility and express their happiness over this development.
