Earlier today, Esquire announced that Emilia Clarke has been named this year's Sexiest Woman Alive, following in the footsteps of stunning stars such as Rihanna, Mila Kunis, Scarlet Johannson, Kate Beckingsale and more.
The 28-year-old Game of Thrones beauty poses topless for the magazine's cover, leaving little to the imagination as a small blanket barely covers her backside and is described by writer Benjamin Markovits as "Half pal, half dominatrix. Half kid sister, half sexy queen."
While one glance at the cover will confirm that Clarke has earned the honor, the actress also joins the ranks of a number of leading ladies who have been awarded the title before her.
