As always, the story promises to be continued—but you might have to wait a little bit for resolution considering even star Gina Rodriguez still has no idea what that little epilogue to the episode was all about.
"To be very honest, I have no idea! I have no clue," she tells E! News of the scene, which showed a woman reading a headline about Jane getting her baby back, then commanding a henchman to go after her (auf Deutsch, and somewhere gorgeous—possibly the Alps).
But Rodriguez is maybe OK with that. "That's what's kind of great at times—I won't know where they're going with certain storylines or certain people, and the beautiful discovery about life is we don't know what's going to happen tomorrow or two hours from now, so I like to keep it that way with my character. Jane actually has no idea that's going on and I have NO idea what's going on!"
Don't stress too much about it, though. Rodriguez has the ultimate faith in creator Jennie Snyder Urman to turn it into a satisfying storyline. "I definitely know I need some more time to see what's happening there. But I trust Jennie fully to make it all come to fruition in the perfect way possible!"
