When it comes to Taylor Swift's friendships, her style is all about the more, the merrier.

From talented musicians like Selena Gomez to supermodels like Gigi Hadid, the "Shake It Off" crooner runs with a pretty special group of people.

So how did Swift become close with so many familiar faces? The answer may surprise you.

"A lot of the time I'll reach out to people to tell them they're great and a friendship will come out of them," she shared in the November issue of Vogue Australia. "Ella and I—Lorde—we met on our own because her album came out and I sent her flowers and told her it was great, and now she's one of my best friends."

She continued, "My friendship group is one of my favorite things about my life right now. Our friends really have each others' back. It's the first time in my life that I've had anything strong like that in the friendship department."

While gracing the cover that hits shelves Oct. 19, Swift is described as a "fashion renaissance" while wearing a Schiaparelli haute couture dress.

Her look, which also includes statement rings and effortless bangs, was styled by the publication's fashion director Christine Centenera.

While Swifites may continue to admire the singer's beauty, Swift continues to savor her gal pals both in private and in public.

"Friendship often comes from admiration," she shared in the publication via Us Weekly. "And that feels like a natural way to be friends with someone because you've established you respect what the person does."
