More than two months after Bobbi Kristina Brown's death, shocking new accusations have been made about Nick Gordon, her longtime boyfriend.

The daughter of singers Bobbi Brown and the late Whitney Houston, who had no other children, died on July 26 at age 22 after being in a coma for months. She was found face down and unconscious in a bathtub in the Georgia home she shared with Gordon, who Whitney had helped raise when he was younger. He has denied any wrongdoing and has not been charged with a crime. Bobbi Kristina's death remains under investigation.

Before she died, her estate conservator, Bedelia Hargrove, filed a $10 million civil lawsuit against Gordon, claiming he abused Bobbi Kristina physically and wired money from her bank account without authorization. In August, the suit was amended to include a wrongful death allegation.

A new document filed by Hargrove's attorneys at a Georgia court on Thursday alleges Bobbi Kristina "died due to a violent altercation with [Gordon], after which he placed her in a bathtub, unconscious, after he injected her with a toxic mixture."

"The lawsuit against Nick is slanderous and meritless," Gordon's lawyers said in a statement, via his rep, to E! News on Friday. "Nick intends to defend the lawsuit vigorously and expose it for what it is: a fictitious assault against the person who loved Krissy most."

The lawsuit had previously accused Gordon of fighting with Bobbi Kristina on the day she was found in the tub before giving her a "toxic cocktail rendering her unconscious," after which he "put her face down in a tub of cold water causing her to suffer brain damage." Gordon had denied the allegations.

The new documents were issued as a response to a motion his lawyers had filed earlier this week, in which he requested a stay, or temporary suspension, of discovery proceedings, or legal procedures used to gather evidence, pending results of the criminal investigation into Bobbi Kristina's death.

In his motion, his attorneys state Gordon "would enjoy nothing more than to defend himself in this lawsuit. However, the same individuals that have filed this suit are the same people who are actively seeking a criminal prosecution and he simply cannot defend both simultaneously as refusal to incriminate himself, the Fifth Amendment right guaranteed by both the United States Constitutional and the Georgia Constitution, would raise an inference, albeit incorrectly, of Mr. Gordon's guilt."

Police have not commented on what was found inside Bobbi Kristina's home when she was discovered and their investigation continues. The Fulton County District Attorney's office told E! News on Friday there are no updates to the case.

Autopsy and toxicology reports by the Fulton County Medical Examiner remain sealed under court order.

"Clearly and unquestionably, the criminal investigation will conclude with the truth of Bobbi Kristina Brown's untimely and unfortunate death, which will show that Mr. Gordon is not culpable," Gordon's motion states.
