Every time a new male character comes into Alicia Florrick's orbit on The Good Wife, the conversation immediately becomes about Alicia and her love life. Get ready for it to happen all over again thanks to Jeffrey Dean Morgan's new investigator character, Jason Crouse.

Alicia has been estranged from her husband, Governor Peter Florrick, for some time, sticking in the marriage because it's beneficial for the two of them. Meanwhile, she had a fling with her boss, Will Gardner, who was tragically gunned down in season five, slept with her campaign manager and lusted after a fellow attorney. Aside from the campaign manager, it's been some time since Alicia got a little something. But The Good Wife is the story of Alicia Florrick, not Alicia Florrick and her bed partners. Does she need a man?

"I think Alicia needs some loving," Julianna Margulies said with a laugh. "I think it's pretty important. I think the danger of her trying to do everything herself is, she's closing off a very vulnerable side of herself that she's becoming afraid of, to open up again. And I'd love to see her find that vulnerable side, and I think she can only find that if she falls in love with someone and has the capacity to love back."

And what about Peter (Chris Noth)? "I think she has tremendous respect for Peter and understands their position and her marriage, but it's not warm and cozy, we should say," Margulies said.

Morgan has been a part of his fair share of TV romances, but admitted joining The Good Wife and having all eyes on him did make him a "little bit" nervous.

"I know when I initially took the show and it was announced I was doing it, I went to Comic-Con and I wasn't even asked about the project that I was in," he said referring to the Halle Berry drama Extant. "All anybody wanted to talk about was the potential love story between Alicia and Jason, so sure, there's some pretty high expectations, I think especially after Josh [Charles] left, so we'll see what happens."
