Fetty Wap Cancels Tour Dates and Gives Health Update After Motorcycle Crash Injury—Find Out What He Said

Fetty Wap has canceled several tour dates, most recently in the Boston area, as he recovers from a motorcycle crash.

The accident took place near his hometown of Paterson, N.J., on Sept. 26. The 24-year-old rapper, whose real name is Willie Maxwell II, revealed in a selfie video, posted on his Instagram page a day later, that he broke his leg in three places as a result of the crash.

As a result of his injuries, he canceled several appearances.

"Hey Boston zoo, sorry I can't make it to the @jamn945 show on 10/20," the rapper said on Twitter on Friday, referring to an appearance at JAM'N 94.5's concert in Lowell, Mass., which also features Big Sean, Omarion and Sage The Gemini. "Doc says I can't travel that far yet. Hope to see you soon!!"

The other canceled gigs are Orlando radio station Power 95.3's concert on Oct. 3, an Oct. 11 gig at Echostage in Washington, D.C., and BBC Radio's 1Xtra Live show, which was set to take place in Leeds, England, on Oct. 17.

"Everyone at 1Xtra wishes him a speedy recovery," the BBC quoted a statement from 1Xtra organizers.
