Prepare to cringe! According to WPBF 25, Florida woman Katie Gaydos accidentally had her eye glued shut with a bottle of nail glue.

Initially, someone blew debris from a leaf blower into Gaydos' eye. When she asked for him to retrieve eye drops, he returned with the wrong bottle and poured it into her flippin' eye!

Sadly this story gets worse before it gets better. The unemployed, single mother-of-two was initially refused care from her doctor's office for her inability to pay for treatment. Her eye remained shut for a whopping nine days as a result of being denied medical assistance.

There is a happy ending, however! After news station WPBF 25 aired her story, doctors reached into their former cold black hearts and called Gaydos, telling her to come back in for treatment.

Another doctor from the same office was able to reopen the eyelid and advised her to come in again to have the glue taken off her cornea. Fortunately, Gaydos was told she would not suffer any long-term eye damage.

As much as we're cringing in our seat, our heart goes out to this woman! Get well soon, girl!
