Daniel Craig has made it quite clear that he doesn't want to do another James Bond movie again any time in the foreseeable future.

In fact, the Spectre star told Time Out London in a recent interview he would "rather break this glass and slash my wrists" than reprise his role as 007. This seemingly ungrateful attitude didn't sit well with a lot of people—including fellow actor Ellen Pompeo!

weeted a link to Craig's unabashed interview, adding simply, "This dude needs a reality check."

Not everyone agreed entirely. In a tweet to Pompeo, one fan pointed out there was "a good chance" Craig's quotes were "not exactly what he said," adding that some media outlets have a tendency to "embellish things."

"You are absolutely right!" the actress responded. "I certainly have been there."

After this, another fan noted some media outlets tend "to blow up everything and twist it to get a good headline," to which Pompeo responded, "Yes they do #smart girl!"

So what else did Mr. Craig say, aside from that he'd rather slash his wrists than do another bond movie? Well, he told Time Out London he was simply "over it at the moment," adding, "We're done. All I want to do is move on."

When Craig was asked if he wants to move on from the iconic role forever, he replied simply, "I haven't given it any thought. For at least a year or two, I just don't want to think about it...Who the f--k knows? At the moment, we've done it."

"If I did another Bond movie, it would only be for the money," Craig admitted candidly.

As for who replaces him? "Look, I don't give a f--k," he told Time Out London. "Good luck to them!  All I care about is that if I stop doing these things we've left it in a good place and people pick it up and make it better. Make it better, that's all."

Spectre hits theaters Nov. 6, 2015.
