Netflix, you've bested us again.

The streaming service has decided to raise its prices yet again. Get thy pitchforks ready!

But alas, this time around the change isn't actually too shocking. (Nothing will ever beat the time they took away DVD service and didn't lower membership rates, right?). The standard plan, which allows users to watch TV and movies on two different devices at the same time, will now cost $9.99 per month—up $1 from its current $8.99 price.

For those who either have a whole lot of friends or need to have every device in the house playing Friends at the same time, the premium membership will continue to cost $11.99 per month—that gets you streaming on up to four different platforms. Not too shabby.

It may seem like Netflix has been raising their prices a lot lately, but it's all in the name of expansion. "To continue adding more TV shows and movies including many Netflix original titles, we are modestly raising the price for some new members in the U.S., Canada and Latin America," the company said. That means that for just one measly dollar a month, the hope of finally getting to stream old episodes of Will & Grace is still alive.

And it's not all bad news—for the first year, the price hike will only affect new customers. Existing users won't be subject to the $9.99 fee until 2016. See? Netflix is okay after all.
