Cathriona White, the deceased ex-girlfriend of Jim Carrey, will be laid to rest Saturday.

The Irish makeup artist, who is believed to have committed suicide on Sept. 28 after a possible overdose, will be buried next to her father, Pat, at a local cemetery following a funeral service set to take place in her hometown of Cappawhite in Co Tipperary, Ireland.

Family and friends will also have the opportunity to pay their respects to the late beauty during a wake Friday evening. This news was announced by White's uncle, who posted a notice of the schedule of events outside his undertaking business.

After White was discovered in her home in Sherman Oaks, Calif., her mother and step-sister flew to the United States to make arrangements to return their beloved daughter and sister back to her native country. Mark Burton, White's husband at the time of her death, joined the women to retrieve her body.

White's body was released on Monday after an initial autopsy was completed. However, the cause of death will not be confirmed until a full toxicology report is finished.

Carrey, who has publicly referred to White as a "truly kind and delicate Irish flower" since her death, is expected to be attending the funeral and has offered to do anything he can to help her family during this devastating period.

The former couple began dating in 2012 and split after a few months, rekindling their romance again in May.

"Jim has offered any kind of financial assistance he can provide for Cat's family," a source close to the star told E! News."He is paying for her body to be flown back to Ireland and is putting up her family at a hotel in Los Angeles. He is shocked and devastated. He loved her very much. He wants to do whatever he can to help them through this difficult time."
