In case you haven't realized it already, FKA twigs is a woman who marches to the beat of her own drum. However, with that said, the U.K. singer still considers herself very traditional, and maintains that mindset when it comes to planning her future.

"I'm quite traditional," Robert Pattinson's fiancée told Paper magazine for their "Nowstalgia" issue.

"You know that saying, ‘You can take the girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the girl'? I grew up in Gloucestershire, and there's a certain format that people fit into. I'm actually quite happy with the format. I'm quite happy to say, ‘Go to school, work hard on your GCSEs, do your A-Levels, get married, have children. Send your kids to a nice school. Make sure you're in the right catchment area,'" she continued.

Speaking of the future and family life, the couple were recently at the center of split rumors because their highly anticipated wedding was put on hold. However, E! News learned that's not the case.

"They haven't drifted apart [despite claims], but they haven't spoken as much lately because of his filming schedule," the source explained to us recently. "He is in Belfast and she is currently in the United States."

Meanwhile, FKA twigs—who flaunts her toned body in an American Apparel bodysuit, Vivienne Westwood shoes, a Balenciaga pearl earring and BVLA earrings and septum ring for the mag's cover—also spoke on Taylor Swift's interaction with fans, and how the 1989 singer often gives us #squadgoals.

And although her group of friends is admirable, the British star admits she's not exactly gunning at a chance to be a part of her inner circle.

"I think Taylor Swift is great, but I wouldn't necessarily think, ‘Oh my god, I have to be friends with her,'" she explained, and went into what makes her fan base so unique.

"When I meet fans, they're quite creative and intelligent, kind, sensitive. Some are old ladies, witch doctors from Louisiana, kids that have just left art school. Gay or lesbian couples, straight middle-aged couples," said.

FKA twigs also touches on her energy as a performer, the bravery that goes into being an artist and more, which can all be seen when her "Nowstalgia" issue hits newsstands on Oct. 20.
