First an awards show and now a movie!

Tracy Morgan has officially staged his comeback. He made a surprising and emotional appearance at the 2015 Emmy Awards in September, showing viewers that he was back and just as funny as ever, and now he has returned to work. In pictures exclusively obtained by E! News, the 30 Rock alum looked like he was having a great time filming Fist Fight in Atlanta.

Dressed as a sports coach, Morgan seemed to be back in his element, getting down to business on set. The last time we saw Morgan on the silver screen was in Chris Rock's hit movie Top Five, so having the comedian back at work is very exciting!

Fist Fight also features Ice Cube and Charlie Day, who both play teachers in a broken-down school system and wind up in a fistfight with each other. Morgan plays the high school's coach.

The new gig, which was announced in September, came after E! News confirmed that Morgan will return to his old stomping grounds at NBC's Saturday Night Live on Oct. 17 to host the late-night sketch show. It will be his second time hosting overall and his first acting appearance on TV since he was critically injured in a deadly bus crash in June 2014.

But while Morgan's first appearance at the Emmys was lighthearted and funny, he also became incredibly emotional when he thanked his family and friends for the ongoing support.

"I miss you guys so much," Morgan explained. "Jimmy Kimmel said on this stage [last year] that we'll see you back here next year, Tracy Morgan. Well, thanks to my amazing doctors and the support of my family and my beautiful new wife, I'm here standing on my own two feet."

BRB, we're still crying.
