James Franco is finally becoming a man...and he's doing it for charity.
The 37-year-old actor and pal Seth Rogen have teamed up with Omaze, Hilarity for Charity (Rogen founded the organization with his wife, Lauren) to help raise money and awareness for Alzheimer's disease by giving fans a chance to attend Franco's forthcoming Bar Mitzvah (and yes, he's fully aware that this celebration typically occurs at the age of 13).
In a video promoting the charity event (video contains language that may be offensive to some), Rogen shares his fond memories of his own Bar Mitzvah, although, as the footage shows, he has a slightly warped perception of his own special evening.
"I'm a little nervous…as a Jew who has had a Bar Mitzvah, can you tell me what to expect?" Franco asks Rogen during a video chat before the actor reminisces over his own coming-of-age celebration.
"Smoked some weed, grinded with a lot of girls, got to have my first taste of alcohol and I remember thinking 'this s--t tastes good...'" he recalls. "You have an incredible time, one of the best nights of your life and you finally become a man."
While none of the aforementioned events actually occurred, Rogen immediately receives Franco's stamp of approval.
"You were one badass 13 year old," the Interview star says.
