Fans grew to love Caleb Logan through YouTube, so it only seemed fitting that tonight, his admirers around the globe were able to attend his emotional memorial service.

The 13-year-old YouTube star's friends and family held a tribute in honor of the young Internet sensation and made it open to the public by streaming the entire service on Periscope, an app which broadcasts events live through a smartphone, and Facebook.

The touching memorial started with a montage of Caleb in home videos, ranging from his birthdays to family vacations to interviewing Carly Fiorina and visiting the Hillary Clinton headquarters.

The seemingly small and private memorial didn't include any speeches from immediate family members. Flowers, photos and baseball memorabilia were a huge part of the decorations for the service.

Describing Caleb as a "respectful young man," who "had such a great work ethic and took pride in his work as a catcher," his baseball coach Josh said Logan "would do anything to help his team win," and sweetly added, "Caleb, you will always be on my roster."

"I personally will always remember his smiles and his character," Logan's other baseball coach, Larry, said. "I hope we can all keep a little piece of Caleb with us. God bless him."

Paige, Logan's cousin who spent the last year with his family, seemed a little shaken up and didn't plan on speaking, but offered a few words in remembrance of her late family member.

"The family is amazing and they are wonderful parents," she said. "Caleb knew how to light up a room...He was like a little brother to me. He loved life and enjoyed every little bit...He was a trouper."

A Makers Studio employee, who worked with Caleb for a new Brataleys show on history (Logan's favorite subject) reminisced on days they spent together, and simply noted, "Bratayleys are real. Very real."

The autopsy for Caleb Loan has been completed, but the cause of death is pending, the medical examiner's office confirms to E! News. But a source tells us that there is a family history of the heart condition called cardiomyopathy.

"It appears it runs pretty deep," the insider says. At the time of his death, Caleb hadn't been diagnosed with any medical condition.

In honor of their son's passing, the Bratayleys posted a video of Caleb that was made one day before he died.

"In addition to our desire to give the Internet community the chance to begin the grieving process, we also wanted to post this video to show a healthy and happy Caleb doing what he loved," the family wrote on YouTube. "Thank you for all the love and support that everyone has shown our family. And we ask for continued love and support as we move through the grieving process."

The Bratayleys first launched their YouTube page in 2010 and have since amassed more than 1 billion views, per Variety. Their most popular episode pulled in more than 22 million views.
