If the Internet has taught the world anything lately, it's that people love hot dudes.
It doesn't matter what those hot dudes are doing, so long as they look fly. And it really doesn't even matter what they look like—bearded, curly-haired, tall, short—so long as they have a strong jaw and a penchant for taking their shirts off. What's not to like, really?
And Instagram has caught on to this very specific interest, as Instagram is wont to do. First there was Hot Dudes Reading, which trolled the New York City subways in search of bookworms with butt chins.
Then there was Men and Coffee, which allowed us to get both our caffeine fix and our shirtless guys fix via osmosis (and chest hair).
Then there was Men and Wine, which was really just an excuse to post pictures of naked dudes in bathtubs—with a glass of vino, of course.
And now, finally, we have Hot Dudes in Beds (otherwise known as @hotdudesinbeds). There's no way to describe this other than the natural culmination of the hot-guys-on-Instagram trend. The other accounts have simply been skirting the issue, but this is the feed that dares to be shoot straight from the hip. Because really, most followers were looking at shirtless guys in bathtubs for one reason and one reason only.
One might think that an Instagram account of just men in bed would get mundane or fail to be creative, but you would be surprised how many different variations there are. Look, it's a guy taking a pillow selfie! And look, it's a guy getting out from under the covers! And there! It's a man doing...well...this.
Now enough of this blabbering, let's just enjoy the view, shall we? We'll take our thanks later.
