You know how during St. Patrick's Day you drink lots of green beer and the next day your urine has a greenish tint to it? Well, this is a lot like that situation except instead of St. Patty's Day it's Halloween and instead of beer it's Whoppers. And instead of green urine it's…green poop.

(We just wrote "green poop" in an article so that's about the best our journalistic career could ever get. G'night, everyone!)

People who are partaking in Burger King's Halloween Whopper are discovering that it comes with a very weird and unfortunate side effect. The limited edition burger has A1 Steak Sauce baked directly into the bun, which is what gives it the shiny ebony color. And reportedly, all that different coloring means a change to your number twos. Some customers are claiming their poop was bright green for 3 days!

This is either a crazy marketing plot cooked up by Burger King or just a strange little side effect that nobody saw coming.

Thus far, Burger King hasn't addressed Green-gate, and those reporting the color change don't mention that the burger made them feel sick. So it seems like this is just an aesthetic choice and not so much an actual illness?

The cause of the "greenies" (that's what we're now calling it) probably has to do with food coloring or dyes and not so much the actual A1 sauce.

Either way, you now have a pretty cool Halloween trick to show off to your friends. Or you can send a photo of your "greenies" to your boss and tell them that something is very wrong and you need to take a week off to get your intestines tested. The possibilities are endless!

Thanks, Burger King!
