Talk about fairy tale romance!
Dancing With the Stars professional Witney Carson has had quite the week—she and partner Carlos PenaVega avoided elimination, and, you know, she got engaged to her high school sweetheart Carson Mcallister. And just wait until you hear how he popped the question!
In their first interview together since getting engaged, Witney, 21, and Carson, 23, reveal their grand proposal in the exclusive clip from Monday night's #DWTSAllAccess above. Warning: tears and jealousy may occur!
While he was supposed to be in Utah, Carson was actually in California, working on an elaborate secret proposal for his girlfriend of four years. And when Witney showed up for dinner with his sisters in Manhattan Beach, she received the surprise of a lifetime.
"There's Carson standing there surrounded in candles in this little canopy. He had music playing and everything, he had seriously thought this out," she spilled. "And I ran up to him and gave him a hug and then music was playing and we were just dancing a little bit. Then our song came on and that's when he knelt down and opened a little seashell. He was shaking!"
And Carson went all-out for the proposal, revealing, "This wasn't just a moment. This was the entire day, weeks in advance. So the entire day, me and my dad spent digging a 9x9 hole in the sand, which we calculated: 16,000 pounds of sand was shoveled out!" Yes, that's how much he loves her: 16,000 pounds of sand worth.
Aside from picking out a dress, a venue and the usual wedding details, there's one major question left for the couple to tackle: Will Carson take on Witney's last name?! ''It's already a done deal," Witney joked. "I said Carson Carson or it's no marriage!" Carson added, "That's the only way I got her to say yes!"
His first name and her last name does make for a great mashed-up couple name though, as Witney said, "Carson squared, I like it!"
