BravoThe Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador isn't shy about opening up her life to cameras. The reality star has been open about her martial problems stemming from her husband David's affair—the two even sat down with Andy Cohen for a Watch What Happens Live special and opened up even more—and took things to a new level of "love" on last night's show. Spoiler alert: It involves Shannon's behind.
Before Tamra Judge's baptism, Shannon gave herself an at home colonic from her trusted Dr. Moon. But she feared a piece of plastic didn't make its way out of her. "A piece of the plastic got stuck in my rear-end," she said.
In an effort to get the plastic out of her butt, she gave herself an enema while cameras were rolling, but the doors were closed. Hey, a Real Housewives first!
But there never was any plastic. Shannon discovered this after she had David take a look inside…yup. "I thought it was up there, but it wasn't. It had come out in the toilet," she said.
"He figured out for me that there was nothing there," she said. "But that's love. That's love."
Shannon told her daughters that "Daddy showed me true love tonight." "By looking in your poop?" one of her daughters responded. Oh dear.
In her Bravo blog, Shannon explained exactly why she gave herself the colonic before the baptism. "I chose to do this before the baptism because I had eaten a tangerine and I bloated like I was 6 months pregnant! The Sitolonic got rid of the bloat, but unfortunately I broke apart the apparatus before I did it and here we are. Story of my life. Terry Dubrow said I should do an enema or go to the ER. David wanted me to go to the ER as well (he was panicked)," she wrote. But in the video above he certainly seems calm. "Bottom line, I was fine. Not funny at the time, but we all got a good laugh for the rest of the night!"
On the flip side of things, Shannon and David revealed more details about their troubled relationship, including what we already knew: Heather Dubrow knew of the affair before Shannon did. She knew when cameras were rolling on season nine and Shannon and Heather had a confrontation over gossip about Shannon's marriage.
"It's the ultimate girl code," Shannon told Andy Cohen. "She didn't even tell Terry. She kept it to herself and I am very appreciative of that."
David said his mistress had mutual friends with Heather, so he had suspected she may be clued in on the affair, but Heather still kept her mouth shut.
"It has been a difficult road, but David and I are in an incredible place today. I continue to focus on the positive in my life and in our marriage, and when bad memories come to me, I remind myself of all the good. You actually see an example of how I go to a "dark moment" and how I can quickly get out of it. It is possible!!! I'm not going to say it was the easiest process. Infidelity feels like death. But we are there...and beyond! I could not be more grateful for where my life is today," Shannon wrote.
