Emotions were running high on Dancing With the Stars last night, particularly for Allison Holker and Andy Grammer. The duo paid an emotional tribute to a lost loved one and shared an announcement of impending new life.

For his Most Memorable Year, Andy decided on 2009 to honor his late mother. He was a street performer and she was diagnosed with late stages breast cancer. To honor his mom, Andy danced the Cha Cha his own song "Good to Be Alive (Hallelujah)."

"To be able to honor my mom like that and to able to tell my story—it's been awesome," he said. "It's been really, really nice. Today was a really special day."

Not only for Andy, but for his professional partner Allison as well. The dancer announced her pregnancy during the live show.

"Well, as a pro, you know, most memorable year really is such a special time because we get to celebrate someone's beautiful story and share it with the world," she told co-host Erin Andrews before bringing out her daughter and her husband Stephen "tWitch" Boss. "This is my daughter and my husband. And 2015 is actually turning out to be such a memorable year for us, because we actually recently found out that I'm pregnant."

Allison told E! News she's four months along and so far, everything is A-OK. "It feels incredible. The hardest part of the pregnancy so far has been keeping it secret," she told E! News. Yeah, there's no baby bump yet—and Allison said there shouldn't be.

"I shouldn't be growing; we're dancing every day," she joked. That "baby boss" will be very fit and have the best posture and pointed toes, she said.

During the show, Allison said her bun in the oven won't affect her performance with Andy. "I am so about this for Andy and I want him to feel the most comfortable, but I'm here 100 percent of the way for him," she said.

Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
