Who Headed Home After an Extra Emotional Dancing with the Stars?

There's nothing wrong with anything, everything's beautiful, and we are all victory-laden.

That, from one Gary Busey, is just one of many lessons we learned during tonight's deeply emotional Dancing with the Stars

Unfortunately, that may be the last lesson Gary teaches us this season, because he and partner Anna Trebunskaya were eliminated tonight, depriving a whole lot of people the joy of listening to Gary Busey talk on live TV each week.

However, maybe we might not have to say goodbye just yet, according to Gary himself.

"The fact that I've been eliminated is false," he declared at the end of the show, even as tonight's host, Alfonso Ribeiro, tried to bid us farewell. Apparently, Gary and Anna's spirits will live on around the dance floor. "You won't see us dancing, but we'll be there."

We certainly hope so, Gary.

The stars did a bit of time traveling tonight as they relived their most memorable year, and for many of them, their most memorable year was also one of their saddest years. Bindi Irwin paid tribute to her father, Alek Skarlatos danced for his school, Umpqua Community College, after last week's horrible shooting, and Andy Grammer danced for his late mother. It was almost like a test of our resolve in holding back tears, and we failed miserably

We guess that, when you look at the scores, Gary's departure did make sense, since he ended up with the lowest of the night, but we really will miss him.

On the other end of the spectrum, Bindi's gorgeous tribute to her father took the top score of the night and earned the first 10 from Bruno Tonioli. It also earned all of the blubbering at our desk.

On a happier note, Nick Carter made our days with his Backstreet Boys tribute to Backstreet's Back, and Hayes Grier danced to our current favorite earworm, Shawn Mendes' "Stitches," both earning a cool 27 out of 30, along with Tamar Braxton
