Ahhh, the awkward stage.

Chris Pratt revealed Monday that even he had to live through an awkward stage growing up when he shared a school picture of himself when he was just 13 years old. Dressed in blue crew-neck shirt and donning the signature teenage boy hairstyle—overly gelled hair—the Jurassic World star looks adorable!

Why did he post the picture on a day that wasn't in honor of throwbacks or flashbacks? Well, it was to honor his brother-in-law's new project about what it's like to be a young teen growing up in today's world. "Before selfies, this was what 13 looked like. #Being13 looks like this now: cnn.com/being13," he captioned the pic.

"So proud of my brother in law, friend and hunting partner Bob Faris for his involvement in this great project. Check it out!!"

Little did 13-year-old Pratt and his friends know that he would grow up to play a superhero and velociraptor trainer—or maybe they did. Pratt has a knack of predicting the future, as he proved in a throwback video from 2010. While recording a behind-the-scenes clip for Parks and Recreation, Pratt predicted that he would be involved in the next Jurassic Park installment.

"Sorry Steven [Spielberg], was asked by Parks and Recs/NBC to do behind the scenes, which is to say everyone else was asked and said no. But, I have no shame, as you know by the endless gift baskets. I'll have to get back to you later about Jurassic Park 4."

Given the shocking accuracy of his prediction, we're willing to let it slide how off he was with the title. Both Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are returning for the sequel to Jurassic World, which will be released July 22, 2018. The Guardians of the Galaxy star once joked he had signed on to star in "38 movies" for the franchise, so it's no surprise how eager he was to sign on to the sequel.
