Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell are getting serious!

The actors made their red carpet debut as a couple Sunday night at the premiere of Stowell's movie, Bridge of Spies, held at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center as part of the 53rd New York Film Festival. Other A-list attendees included Alan Alada, Ed Burns (Stowell's co-star on Public Morals), Jessica Capshaw, Tom Hanks, Eve Hewson, Billy Magnussen, Amy Ryan, Steven Spielberg and Christy Turlington.

Dobrev was on hand to support Stowers, who plays Francis Gary Powers in the film (in theaters Oct. 16). She wore a Versace dress, H. Stern jewelry and Casadei heels.

The actors were revealed to be dating after they were spotted kissing at a comedy club in July. The young stars' relationship continued to blossom over the next two months, and after they attended Eli Mizrahi's Founding Member dinner launch party during New York Fashion Week, a source told E! News, "You can tell how much they love each other just by the way they speak and their mannerisms toward one another. Austin is such a gentleman and treats Nina with such respect."

Dobrev and Stowell have yet to discuss their relationship publicly, but in 2013, the former Vampire Diaries actress explained to Cosmopolitan what she looks for in a partner. "You either have chemistry or you don't, but a lot of what attracts me is a guy's mind and humor and talent. I need to get to know all those things before I fall for someone. I'm not a one-night-stand kind of girl. I'm a relationship girl," the Final Girls star told the magazine, adding, "I'm progressive in some ways, old-fashioned in others. I like it when guys hold the door open and are sweet and thoughtful."

As for what physically draws her to a man, Dobrev said, "A man in a suit looking put together and dapper is very attractive, but I also kind of like the I-just-rolled-out-of-bed, a-little-bit-of-scruff, effortless, not-trying-hard-but-still-sexy guy. If a guy spends more time looking in the mirror than I do, that's problem!"
