Live from New York, it's the return of Hillary Clinton!

Tonight may have been the season premiere of Saturday Night Live with host and musical guest Miley Cyrus. But for many viewers, they were tuning in hoping to see one special presidential candidate.

Yes, Clinton herself returned to the late-night show where she appeared in a skit that featured Kate McKinnon playing the Democratic frontrunner. While chatting at a local bar, the conversation quickly turned to GOP candidate and real estate mogul Donald Trump.

"I'm just so darn bummed," McKinnon begins to explain. "All anybody wants to talk about is Donald Trump."

Without any delay, Clinton brings out her best Trump impersonation skills and says, "Donald Trump. Isn't he the one that's like ‘Oh, you're all losers?'"

The whole audience couldn't hold back their laughter as the ladies tried to carry on with a straight face. "I want to be the one to take him down," McKinnon shared while in character. "I will destroy him and I will mount his hair in the oval office."

Politics aside, Clinton was also able to have the special honor of introducing Cyrus to her first performance of the evening. Wearing a signature black pantsuit, Bill Clinton's wife nailed the quick but oh-so-important duties.

Perhaps it's safe to say Clinton has become a pro with the whole late-night thing. After all, the former Secretary of State previously dropped by the show during the 2008 presidential election.

Looks like the countdown to Decision 2016—SNL style—is on!

Saturday Night Live airs Saturday nights at 11:35 p.m. only on NBC.
