InstagramMacklemore is loving the dad life!
The 32-year-old Grammy-winning rapper posted on his Instagram page on Saturday a photo of himself napping on a bed alongside his and wife Tricia Davis' baby daughter, Sloane Ava Simone Haggerty, who sleeps peacefully while swaddled.
"There is nothing better," Macklemore wrote.
This is the first child for the longtime couple. Macklemore, whose real name is Ben Haggerty, announced in August that Sloane was born in late May. At the same time, Davis revealed, via an adorable Instagram photo of her hubby with their daughter, that she and the rapper had wed in June after a more than two-year engagement.
Earlier this week, Macklemore posted on his Instagram page a pic of Sloane watching a football game played by his favorite team, the Seattle Seahawks, while decked out in baby Seahawks apparel.
"Sloanes first football game...Go Hawks!!!" he wrote.
The rapper talked about the child in the MTV News mini-documentary Macklemore: Fully Human, which was released weeks after the announcement.
"She's a big baby," Macklemore said. "She's a 10-pound baby, and [with] a big-ass head and I was like, 'This is, this is my child.' It's this unconditional love that happens instantaneously."
He also revealed that music by another popular rapper "for some reason, just calms her down."
