Tom Hanks has resurfaced as a new man!

The actor gave fans the first look of his transformation as Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger earlier today when he was caught in wardrobe by paparazzi while on set for his upcoming film Sully based on the heroic pilot.

Sporting a full head of white hair and salt and pepper mustache, the suited up Hanks was strutting a pretty good resemblance to Sullenberger!

Clint Eastwood is directing the biopic, based on Sullenberger's autobiography Highest Duty: My Search for What Really Matters, and tells the story of the pilot who safely landed the US Airways flight 1549 full of 155 passengers in the Hudson River after both engines were knocked out by a flock of geese.

The "Miracle on the Hudson" made national headlines in January 2009. Aaron Eckhart will play Jeff Skiles, who was the first officer and co-pilot on the Airbus A320 and Laura Linney will play Sully's wife.

No release date for the film has been set.
