Nicole Kidman just made our eyes go wide open like never before.
The Oscar winner stuns in a new steamy photo spread in the October Interview magazine.
Kidman looks gorgeous in the black and white shots by photographer Fabien Baron that show her in slips, bras and underwear. Her hair is a wild mane of curls.
In one pic, she stares into the camera while sucking on a piece of ice. You can practically feel the humidity of her surroundings.
In another, Kidman leans against a window frame, her bra and underwear (and amazing body) are on full display underneath a lacey sheer dress.
She is lying in a bathtub and even gets on her hands and knees to scrub a floor.
Kidman is interviewed for the magazine by Lee Daniels, the Empire creator who directed her in the 2012 indie The Paperboy with Matthew McConaughey, John Cusak and Zac Efron.
Kidman admits her family wasn't always so supportive of her acting dreams. She took acting classes "instead of going to the beach or playing" when she was barely a teen.
"It was completely self-motivated. My father was a biochemist and my mom was a nurse educator, and they were like, ‘Who is this black sheep of the family?'" said Kidman, 48. "At that age, I was seeking it out. And I was looking for kindred spirits."
Kidman, who is now happily married to Keith Urban and a mom of four, says she can't help but let her personal life into her work.
"We're taught to bring everything—the state of being, the environment—and use it. If it's raining, or the other actor doesn't know his lines, everything has to be used," she said. "So your own emotional state comes into play, and I certainly remember that happening a lot on, say, The Hours, when I was going through an enormous amount of turmoil. And even though it was appropriate at times for the character [Virginia Wolf], at other times it wasn't. But I would just bleed into it; it would manifest in different ways."
Kidman will next be seen in the thriller Secret in Their Eyes with Julia Roberts and Chiwetel Ejiofor. The movie hits theaters on Nov. 20.
