Tim Tebow, 28, and Olivia Culpo, 23, are dating and have been for about a month, E! News has learned.
This is the first known relationship for Culpo, Miss Universe 2012, since she and Nick Jonas, 23, broke up in the early summer after nearly two years together. The beauty queen and Tebow have not commented.
"Tim and Olivia are dating but trying to keep out of the public eye as much as they can," a source told E! News exclusively. "Olivia had a hard time after the break up with Nick Jonas but took time for herself and focused on work and is in a great place now."
"She is very open to getting to know Tim and exploring the chance of something more with him," the source said. "She is really attracted to Tim's personality. They are having a great time with each other and are looking to spend more time once the football season slows down. Olivia is excited whats developing as they get to know each other more."
Meanwhile, the football stud is "really enjoying getting to know Olivia."
"It's really easy for him to talk to her," the source told E! News. "He thinks she is beyond beautiful as well. Things are new for them and exciting—it's only been about a month."
The Terez Owens sports blog had reported last week that Culpo "was now being linked to" the former NFL star and that the two "have been spotted together on several occasions." No photos of the couple together have emerged as of yet. Culpo appeared solo when she attended the 2015 Emmy Awards on Sept. 20 (and nearly fainted on the red carpet).
