This brand new mommy of two may still be on maternity leave, but that didn't stop Jenna Bush Hager from visiting with one of her favorite co-hosts.

During a surprise appearance on the fourth hour of Today alongside Hoda Kotb, Hager pulled up a chair to dish on her brand new baby girl, Poppy Louise, who she gave birth to less than two months ago in August.

"She's just completed our family," the glowing mom said. "It feels really complete."

In addition to little Poppy Louise, Hager had her first daughter Margaret "Mila" Hager in 2013 with husband of seven years, Henry Chase-Hager.

As for their two daughter's burgeoning sisterhood, Hager said they couldn't be better friends.

"Mila is loving being a big sister," Hager gushed. "You never know how it's going to go!" Hager speaks from experience. She has a sister of her own—her fraternal twin, 33-year-old Barbara Pierce Bush

The NBC News correspondent also revealed her 2-year-old daughter's hidden talent—singing lullabies. She sings her heart out while the newborn sleeps.

"She's so crazy about her," said Jenna. "She's totally gaga."

It was love at first sight for the toddler, who was tasked with picking out her baby sister in the nursery upon arrival at the hospital shortly after the baby was born. "She's totally crazy about her. Every morning, she goes, 'Mommy, where's Poppy?'"

As for that unique name, Poppy can thank her great-grandfather and former President George H.W. Bush. According to Hager, Bush was nicknamed Poppy as a child and she picked the name in tribute to him.

While it's probably too soon to be thinking about a third child for the Hager family, we know it's not completely out of the cards.

"I appreciate life so much more as a mom and I feel so lucky. I know how wonderful motherhood is and that makes it so much sweeter," Hager said on Today. "I want a big family. We'll see what happens."
