Welcome back, Bridget Jones!

The first image from the anticipated third romantic comedy film in the series, Bridget Jones's Baby, was released on Friday on the Facebook page of production company Working Title Films. It shows returning main star Renée Zellweger, 46, cuddling what some people would consider one of their babies: Her iPad.

Bridget Jones's Baby is the follow-up to the 2004 movie Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason and stars returning actor Colin Firth, 55, who plays Bridget's husband Mark Darcy, and franchise newcomer Patrick Dempsey, 49, whose role remains a mystery. Hugh Grant, 55, who played Bridget's other love interest, is not returning for the third film.

The first two Bridget Jones films (pictured below) were based on Helen Fielding's book series about an awkward publishing exec who deals with some drama in her love life.

Filming on Bridget Jones's Baby began this week. Zellweger was spotted walking in London last month.

The new movie has been in development for years and is adapted from the author's columns for the U.K. newspaper The Independent. Bridget, now in her 40s, finds herself pregnant, while the identity of the baby's father is unknown.

Zellweger famously gained weight to play the character in both movies. In 2009, it was reported she will wear a fat suit for the third film. Its production companies have not commented.

Bridget Jones's Baby is set for release on Sept. 16, 2016.

Remember when Zellweger debuted a new look and people weren't so nice? Here's what Jenny McCarthy had to say about it.
