Music runs in the family!

It looks like Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has passed his musical genes off to his youngest son, Jakob Danger Armstrong, as well, because the newly 17-year-old teen is the latest Armstrong to dive into the music industry.

According to Rolling Stone, Danger recently signed with Burger Records as a solo artist, and he's already previewed some of his music on his YouTube page.

Danger shared several of his catchy and angsty California pop-punk tunes, including "King of the World," which can be reminiscent of some of Green Day's earlier tracks. "I just wanna be the king of the world," he sings on the song's chorus. "You have all these friends and get all the girls."

Jakob's older brother, Joey Armstrong, also went the musical route. The 20-year-old musician formed Emily's Army in his early teens, but the band currently goes by the name Swimmers (also known as SWMRS).
