appleGuess gals aren't the only ones thinking pink for October.
Apple's new iPhone 6s has been flying off the shelves since its late September release, and men are reportedly shelling out for the coveted rose gold color (although by our eyes, it's clearly a little pink). That's right, dudes are really into the rose gold iPhone. So much so, in fact, that folks have dubbed it "bros' gold," because, well, the bros gotta have it.
And why not? Rose gold isn't just for women, and neither is pink (just peep the runways of the most recent Men's Fashion Week if you're not convinced).
"There's enough guys getting rose gold that it should be called bros' gold," Dan Bentley, a 33-year-old Twitter developer, told Re/Code of the hot new Apple item. And what's more, the sleuths over at Re/Code also report that the rose gold color was a huge selling point for the early enthusiasts waiting in line ahead of the Sept. 25 release, and that an estimated 35-percent of customers interviewed in-stores by FBR Capital Markets analysts were dying to get their hands on the pinkish smartphone.
Really, who can blame a dude for going gaga over the new iPhone hue? Anything branded "Apple" is basically a guaranteed must-have—for guys and girls—and that color's ultra-cool.
