Thanks for the nightmares, Ryan Murphy!

You will NEVER EVER want to stay in a hotel again after watching the ultra-terrifying opening credits for American Horror Story: Hotel. Unless you're cool with dripping blood, skeletons, creepy kids and people LITERALLY HIDING INSIDE YOUR MATTRESS, then, like, do you.

Seriously, the minute-long sequence has a Stefon-on-Saturday Night Live-level list of things you will never want to encounter when checking in for a night's stay—and will probably never be able to get out of your mind.

After the terror subsides, you can watch the clip again to glean some clues as to where this season's AHS mystery will take us: somewhere Biblical, because in between each spooky vignette and card of each actor's name are interstitials touting the Ten Commandments. What could it mean?!

Although Murphy is pretty tight-lipped about revealing AHS details ahead of time, he told E! News that you will not be disappointed in Lady Gaga, who's playing a creepy vampire and the owner of the titular Hotel Cortez. "She'll give you nightmares," he spilled.

"When you see that first episode when she comes on the screen, you're like, ‘Holy s—t.' She has this incredible, magnetic thing that you can't create," he said. "You either have it or you don't. And she has it."

Promised co-creator Brad Falchuk, "She will terrify you and you will also be in love with her at the same time."

While our glimpses of Gaga have been relegated to promos, the first actual clip from the show, which debuted during Tuesday night's episode of Scream Queens, featured AHS veteran Wes Bentley and newbie Max Greenfield.

AHS: Hotel premieres Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 10 p.m. on Fox.
