Look out, Penelope Disick: North West may have a new best friend. While mom Kim Kardashian was preparing for an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday, the host of the talk show was busy tending to some other very important personal matters with her daughter. 

Kardashian snapped a quick shot of little North and Ellen DeGeneres transfixed by a My Little Pony grooming session. DeGeneres attentively assisted the toddler by holding the pony so North could focus on the brush work at hand. We already know little Nori has no need for any hairdressing of her own—her curly tendrils are perfection. So, she focused her talents elsewhere. 

"Who saw @TheEllenShow today? Well this is right before I went on...Northie & Ellen brushing My Little Pony's hair lol," the expectant mother wrote on her Instagram account. 

Kardashian must feel proud to see little girl can hold her own among Hollywood's finest at just 2 years old. 

Fortunately for the toddler, she'll have a built-in playmate in just a few months when her little brother is born. The West clan's second addition is expected on Christmas Day and while that is still three months away, Kardashian already has one particular name on her mind for her second child. 

"I do like the name Easton. Easton West," the reality star revealed to DeGeneres during her eighth appearance on the show. "I don't think my husband [Kanye West] likes that name, but I do like it."

While the couple is clearly still contemplating, Kardashian did say there's one name she absolutely won't pick. "I don't think we'll go another direction. It's definitely not South. Every time someone says 'South' I just want to roll my eyes. It's not a good direction." 

While mom and dad are busy picking out names, it looks like Nori can keep herself entertained with DeGeneres and a My Little Pony. Hopefully, someone will remember to pack a couple of the figurines if and when they move to the White House.
