Did DJ and Steve live happily ever after?!

While Full House ended 20 years ago, we're still holding out hope that Deej (Candace Cameron Bure) and her first love Steve (Scott Weinger) will reunite on Netflix's highly anticipated revival, Fuller House, in 2016. And it seems like Bure and Weinger have their fingers crossed for the fan-favorite couple, too!

Weinger posted the super-cute photo fans have been waiting years to see on Wednesday, and knew just how the Internet would react.

"Sorry, Internet," he captioned the photo, adding the hashtag #iloveyoudj.

Are you dying? 'Cause we're dying!

Weigner also recently posted a script tease for fans, featuring Steve saying, "Heey Deej." That basically means "I love you," in Steve-speak, right?!

When Fuller House kicks off in 2016, D.J. will be a recently-widowed single mom to three kids, calling on her little sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and BFF Kimmy (Andrea Barber) for help. Hm...sound familiar?

While fans originally worried that Steve would be revealed as the husband D.J. lost prior to the start of the new series, they rejoiced when Weinger announced he would be reprising his role on Fuller House. "This is not a drill, people," he tweeted along with a photo of his script. "This is happening!"

And we're so glad it is!

Fuller House is set to premiere on Netflix in 2016.
