Watch: Olivia and Fitz's Relationship Goes Public on "Scandal"

Someone's got some explaining to do—well, a lot of people do, actually, now that Olivia Pope's (Kerry Washington) relationship with the president is out in the open on Scandal, thanks to an anonymous (and vindictive) leak of some rather intimate surveillance photos on national television.

At a recent party celebrating all things TGIT, the cast weighed in on who might've been the one to send Sally Langston (Kate Burton) the compromising photos, and how it will affect Fitz and Olivia's abilities to do their jobs going forward.

"It's going to be seismic," dishes the president himself, Tony Goldwyn. "There's going to be an absolute feeding frenzy. Olivia is very good at taking command when she's behind the scenes and it's someone else's problem. It's a very different thing when she's the one in the spotlight."

Regardless of who leaked the pics, Olivia is going to have a hell of a time being able to fix other people's problems when she's currently dealing with a major one of her own.

"It's not great. It's really bad," says Katie Lowes, likening the situation to the Monica Lewinsky scandal. "I don't know how you're supposed to run a business anymore when you're going through something like that."

Translation: She'll need some help.

"I think it's really difficult being in the public eye…doing what she does, which is working her magic behind the scenes," says Scott Foley, a.k.a. Olivia's former beau Jake Ballard. "It's going to make it difficult for her to work her magic when she's not behind the scenes anymore. I think she's going to need to bring in people to help her and I think Jake could be one of the people to do that."

Scandal airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on ABC.
