When you hear the name Victoria Beckham, one person's mind may immediately go to fashion.

The designer has found huge success and a large celebrity following with her line of dresses, handbags, eyewear and more.

But when stepping out in New York City Monday for Fashion 4 Development's fifth annual First Ladies luncheon, Beckham wanted to express her family's consistent desire to help others in need.

"Romeo last year actually ran in the marathon and he raised money for both UNAIDS and David's charity as well that he has with UNICEF," Victoria explained to E! News before celebrating dignitaries and fashion figures for their efforts on global change. "As a family, we want to do whatever we can do to help and make a difference however big or small that is."
