Rock 'n' roll may be here to stay, but so are DJs.

Years ago, the music industry may have considered rock stars as the ultimate performers. They could fill every seat in giant arenas, make millions in one tour and of course get all the ladies.

But in recent months, we can't help but notice a new trend on the music scene. DJs can do that and so much more.

Whether obtaining residencies in Las Vegas, scoring supermodels as girlfriends or simply just doing what they love, DJ's aren't doing so bad professionally and personally.

We're taking a look at just some of the famous DJs who have proven they have the talents and star-power to be called whatever they want!

1. Calvin Harris: According to Forbes, the DJ easily earned the title of Highest Paid DJ when he received a whopping $66 million in 2015. From endorsements with Giorgio Armani, monster radio hits like "Pray to God" and his three-year partnership with the Hakkasan group, the 31-year-old isn't doing so bad. Oh, and there's also his superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift. NBD!

2. Joe Jonas: While many fans may be pumped for his new band titled DNCE, the former Jonas Brothers member also has plenty of skills as a DJ. There's also his impressive social life that includes visits to Fashion Weeks around the world and quality time with Gigi Hadid. When recently asked to describe his girlfriend in one word, he said "happiness."

While it ended up being just a solid friendship, many people quickly discovered Zedd's catchy hits.
