Ah, 2009. The days before iPhones were ubiquitous, when Twitter was just starting to catch on and Taylor Swift was still a country singer from Nashville, not one of the world's most famous pop stars. It was also the year that the now-superstar tested out her acting chops on an episode of CSI.

In honor of the two-hour series finale of the landmark procedural, which has run for 15 years, let Swifty lead you on a walk down memory lane to the episode "Turn, Turn, Turn," in which the then-19-year-old played murder victim Haley Jones.

The CSI team—specifically Nick, who volunteered to take the case on his birthday—had encountered the 16-year-old several times over the previous year while investigating deaths at her parents' motel, and in E! News' exclusive clip from the episode, you can see one of those interactions.

To really set the scene, you should know that Tay Tay's hair is brown-ish and long, and there is a flip phone involved. This guest spot also paved the way for other famous guest stars such as Justin Bieber (another murder victim), and followed in the footsteps of John Mayer (also a murder victim, in season seven).

The two-hour CSI series finale is set to air on Sunday, Sept. 27 at 9 p.m. on CBS, and will see the return of series stars William Petersen, Marg Helgenberger, Ted Danson, Jorja Fox and more. In the two-part episode, "Immortality," Grissom and Willows are returning to help solve "a catastrophic case that paralyzes all of Las Vegas."
