Fact: a number of those seemingly perfect #nofilter selfies have a little help from a re-touching app—and thankfully, Tyra Banks is here to show us the secrets.

On Wednesday's episode of FABLife, the 41-year-old former supermodel asked the audience to confess whether they've every posted a pic with the hashtag #nofilter when in reality, the image has been retouched.

"I have a confession to make," the television host told the crowd. "I don't lie when I say #nofilter. However, I do like to touch it up just a little bit, some of my pictures."

Never one to shy away from candidly speaking about her personal life, the Top Model admitted, "I have insecurities, nobody's perfect" before revealing she likes to touch up her "skinny calves."

Banks then showed the audience her Photoshopped pic before providing another example where she re-touched her booty, her arm and her stomach.

"Pause on the after shot. People would think, 'Oh, my gosh, Tyra's butt is so amazing, and her arm is so, like, toned.'" she said, mimicking commenters. "I feel it's only fair to teach everyone the tips and tricks on how to re-touch your pictures. It's a choice—and I'm going to show you how."

Before the show, Banks asked the audience members to take a selfie, and she chose one at random to re-touch in front of the crowd.

Using the FaceTune app, the television personality perfected the pic by softening the lines around the woman's eyes, whitening her teeth and even making her shoulders broader.

"This is something that I do on a lot of my pictures," the 5' 10" stunner admitted.

She finished retouching the shot by lengthening the woman's neck, softening her wrinkles and enhancing the color of her eyes—immediately drawing oohs and aahs from the audience.

"So, you still look like you, and this is what they do in all those ads," she shared, "And I feel like you deserve to know the truth because this is what happens."

Now, go take the perfect selfie, folks!
