Mariah Carey and James Packer may have started dating back at the beginning of the summer. It wasn't until Monday night, however, when they decided to make their red carpet debut as a couple.
While attending Tribeca Film Institute's Annual Gala Benefit for the New York premiere of The Intern, the pair posed for photos while supporting the Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro film out Friday.
Carey covered up in a purple dress with a sequined leather jacket. Meanwhile, Packer kept things simple and classic with a suit and tie.
"Before making an appearance on the carpet, the happy couple hugged and shared a kiss," an eyewitness told E! News. "Soon after, the two sat with Robert in the theater and enjoyed the movie."
For those not up to date with Carey's new romance, the singer appears to be quite smitten with her main beau.
Whether traveling to Ibiza or staying close to home in Malibu, the Hollywood pair are enjoying every moment together.
"They get along amazingly and their communication is always fluid and easy," a source shared with E! News. "James is very into Mariah, though, and he wants to spoil her and her children every minute he can. He feels she only deserves the best."
The source continued, "James has been speaking to his family and friends back in Australia a lot about Mariah. This is just the beginning of their relationship and they are both excited about what possibly can be ahead for them in the future."
