Kermit and Miss Piggy are so over.

He's got a nice new girlfriend named Denise, and she's been linked to Nathan Fillion, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Groban, and some of the hottest celeb men around, sparking outrage and cries of "love is dead!" from all corners of the Internet.

As much as we'd love to see these two crazy kids make it work, they've clearly moved on from their decades-long relationship and have been getting back out there. When E! News' Will Marfuggi sat down with the former couple (separately, of course), he did what he could to help them in their quest for rebounds by introducing them to the most tried-and-true method for finding love (or something) in 2015: Tinder.

Since Miss Piggy, Kermit, and Kermit's pal Pepe the Prawn aren't just any regular old Tinder plebians, they get to decide whether to swipe left, right, or apparently, up, on the faces of some of Hollywood's most elite singles.

Miss Piggy, of course, takes her swiping very seriously, taking both relationship status, recent scandals, and facial hair into account when making her decisions. Her verdict on Ben Affleck might surprise you, while her ruling on Jon Hamm and Chris Evans probably will not.

Kermit and Pepe, on the other hand, are not so careful about their swiping choices when presented with pictures of celebs like Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Miley Cyrus, Amy Schumer, and more. They swipe left, they swipe right, they swipe up, down, diagonally, or they just start yelling "swipe! swipe!" and it's utter, hilarious chaos.

We could easily make a joke here about the differences between men and women browsing Tinder, but we here at E! News are above such crassness.

Instead, we'll just point out that Kermit's instinctive right swipe on Amy Schumer was apparently partly based on her hair's similarity to Miss Piggy's, which we're going to take as an indication that the feelings between them aren't totally gone.

The Muppets makes its ABC debut this Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 8 p.m., and if you like 30 Rock, The Office, and/or Muppets, it's pretty much your new favorite show that isn't Scream Queens

Be sure to tune into E! News at 7 and 11 p.m. for more from our visit with the Muppets!
