Jenna Bush Hager is having quite an eventful day!
The NBC News correspondent went on her first work trip as a mother of two Thursday, leaving 1-month-old Poppy and 2-year-old Mila at home. To begin with, the former first daughter Instagrammed a picture of the "wildly happy sissies" smiling adorably at each other.
Jenna might've been a little bummed to not be spending the day with her girls, but she did get to travel with her own "sissy," Barbara Pierce Bush.
Before this mama even hit the road, though, she had to figure out what she was going to do in terms of breastfeeding. She comically alluded to her solution with the hashtag #bringoutthepump!
That, however, was easier said than done! In a hilarious follow-up selfie, Jenna and her twin were all smiles as they powered their way through a confusing conundrum together...
"How many sisters does it take to figure out a new travel pump?" Jenna quipped. "...turns out more than 2. #boobexplosion #rentedpumpindestination"
Ha! The Today correspondent clearly had a sense of humor about whatever spillage occurred. That's a good—and necessary—thing, because she might have a whole lot of babies in her future!
Of course, we're jumping the gun a little (she literally has a newborn), but Jenna did say she wanted "a big family" when she revealed she was pregnant with baby No. 2 on Today.
"I appreciate life so much more as a mom," she gushed. "And I feel so lucky. I know how wonderful motherhood is and that makes it so much sweeter."
So how many Hager babies are we talking? TBD, because as Jenna put it, "We'll see what happens!"
