While the Internet continues to praise Carly Fiorina for her take-down of Donald Trump at the GOP debate last night, the ladies of The View weren't quite as pleased with her performance.
Although the women at the round table, including Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Raven-Symone, Paula Faris and Michelle Collins, did acknowledge that the former Hewlett Packard CEO "won the debate," Collins says she was "enraged" by Fiorina's stance on women's issues.
"As a woman, that for me, I was enraged," the 34-year-old comedian said, bringing up the Planned Parenthood debate. "I said yesterday I wanted Hillary Clinton to Kool-Aid man from behind and just knock everything down and lose her mind. I was upset. And for Carly to be there and not stand up for women in that way did bother me."
"That's what Joy pointed out yesterday," Goldberg added.
Fiorina vehemently expressed her opposition to Planned Parenthood last night and encouraged Americans to watch the controversial video, which was heavily edited and released by an anti-abortion group and has ignited a national debate about defunding the organization (Planned Parenthood has been accused of selling fetal tissues for profit, a charge which the organization has denied).
"I dare Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama to watch these tapes," Fiorina said last night. "Watch a fully formed fetus on the table, its heart beating, its legs kicking while someone says we have to keep it alive to harvest its brain."
Goldberg, meanwhile, said she was disappointed in Fiorina for blaming President Barack Obama for our nation's issues instead of taking a stand.
"Instead of following through, she went back to the program and started blaming it on Obama," Goldberg said. "Now, you can't do that. You started so beautifully, because, as a country, we have some issues. But then you went back to partisan politics and I had to leave your ass alone."
As for Behar's thoughts?
"My overall impression of the evening was—this is what they were saying in my ears. Let's get rid of Obamacare. Let's get rid of taxes. Let's get rid of the Iranian deal. Let's get rid of Planned Parenthood. Let's invade countries. Let's build a wall. That's what I heard. Negative, negative, negative."
